The Shire of Narrogin has an excellent opportunity for a young enthusiastic, self-motivated, team-oriented individual to fill the role of Trainee Customer Service Officer, (aged between 17-24), in the Corporate and Community Services Department.
Training will occur in the following areas: collecting and distributing incoming/outgoing mail, providing support to customer service/administration officers, providing secretarial services to senior staff, facility bookings, daily cash handling/banking, directing phone calls, assistance with basic creditor and debtor duties.
The traineeship is offered as a 12 month contract and enrolled in a Certificate III in Local Government. Conditions and rate of pay will be in accordance with the Local Government Officers Award 2010.

What youll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have:

great communication skills,
the ability to multi-task and work well within a team,
knowledge of Microsoft Office. This is desirable however not essential.

Salary package range of $19,758 - $39,293 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience inclusive of:
