RC Drill Rigs can drill up to 500 metres deep into the ground with the key purpose of taking geological samples of the minerals below the surface.  A RC Rig uses dual wall drill rods where compressed air at high pressures power a pneumatic hammer and drill bit which breaks up material beneath the surface and then extracts the material which is cycled up through the drill rods through a cyclone and splitter where several samples are able to be taken of varying sizes by Drillers Offsiders.
