About the role
Based in our Head office in Essendon Fields, we are seeking a Customer Technical Support Specialist who is passionate about working in a small cross-functional team including developers and analysts to help deliver the tools and infrastructure we need to build, test and release to our major airport and airline customers.
This position will provide technical and operational support to the to the delivery team in support of the company's solutions deployed in the field at customer sites.
Frequent domestic and international travel is required with this position. The successful applicant will be required to hold and maintain a valid passport and must have valid Victoria drivers license.
There are multiple positions available.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Provide field services/technical support for all products delivered to customers in the field.
Conduct preventative maintenance works on products deployed to end customer sites.
Provide technical advice and support to the local team to ensure field issues are addressed and encapsulated into future product improvements.
Triage and fault find both hardware and software issues identified in products deployed to the field.
Provide ICT support for solutions deployed in the field.
Provide technical telephone support

Skills and experience
Must be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residency.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a field service role.
Experience in installing, configuring and managing operating systems on computing devices.
Experience providing preventative maintenance.
Experience providing tech support, both over the phone and onsite
Experience physically installing hardware as this role can be tool intensive.
Comfortable using power tools.
CCNA Certification or equivalent
Strong communication (verbal and written) and relationship building skills with a range of stakeholders.
A flexible team player and able to work autonomously.
Sound problem solving skills, with an ability to "think outside the box".
An ability to prioritise work requirements and work towards tight deadlines.
Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally at short notice.
Must hold and maintain a valid passport
