Forklift Service Coordinator

A vacancy exists for the role of a National Service coordinator This position has unlimited potential and will suit a "hands on" type Manager who is prepared to lead from the front, be involved in all aspects of the business on a daily basis

The Service Coordinator  will lead a team of experienced Service Technicians, liaise with clients, manage service agreements, and have a strong work ethic with a focus on customer satisfaction. Applicants with experience/qualifications in the forklift industry will only be Considered 

Qualifications & Requirements:

 

  • Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
  • Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry.
  • Previous Managerial Experience essential in a service managers role

 

Key Competencies:

  • Previous experience in a similar Service  role
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong background in customer service
  • Ability to follow customer issues through to resolution
  • Ability to prepare quotes and follow through to completion
  • Ability to Lead a Team of technicians
  • Ability to diagnose and assist field service technicians with fault finding issues

 

The key responsibilities for this position will include but not be limited to:

  • Management of the day to day operations of the service team
  • Ensure staff conduct and presentation with our clients is delivered at the highest level
  • Planning, scheduling and control of maintenance schedules of equipment
  • Develop and maintain effective communications with potential and existing customers

 Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Allocate mechanical repairs to service technicians, on a daily basis
  • Perform all work in accordance with Active Forklifts Standards
  • Maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components.
