Executive Assistant

Well-established and growing family-owned business in Welshpool, Providing quality commercial construction and building services.



Our client is a leading commercial builder specialising in the construction of Fast Food, Fuel & Childcare facilities.

With a large number of projects recently procured and with further growth expected, they are currently seeking an EA to join their close-knit team, initially on a part-time basis.





As an EA, you will provide high level executive support and coordination across your multiple roles and responsibilities. Your responsibilities will include: 


Answer calls and emails on behalf of the Operations Manager

Provide support to Operations Manager with day-to-day office duties

Manage daily office activities and liaise with relevant stakeholders and clients 

Diary management and coordination of travel arrangements

Draft correspondence, agenda preparation, minute taking and follow up on action items  

Document management (agendas, minutes, reports)

Write and format reports and presentations (including contracts)

Assist with budgeting and preparation of purchase orders






Previous experience (2-3 years) within a similar role

Experience within construction/building industry and prior exposure with Councils for approvals is highly regarded 

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the aptitude to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders 

High degree of professionalism and judgement with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive issues 

High level of administration, reporting, presentation and interpersonal skills

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Word)

Experience completing quantity take offs is desirable, however not essential

Exceptional time management skills 


Ability to:

Multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure

Work independently as well as in a team

Follow instructions and also take initiative

Be highly organised and diligent yet able to problem-solve and think on your feet

Learn and pick up new systems quickly

Salary is negotiable and dependent upon the level of skills and experience.
