Office Administrator

About the role

The selected candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of our office, bookkeeping and all other administration related tasks. What we can offer you includes flexible hours, a good work environment and overall an opportunity as a part-time Office Administrator at Eaglehawk, Bendigo. As the Office Administrator, you will coordinate the office with administrative duties and responsibilities that will include but not limited to the following:

 

Responsibilities include:

    Managing the office on a day-to-day basis and liaise with staff and contractors

    Management of relevant suppliers (insurance, utilities, landlord, etc.)

    Ordering and collecting of office consumables, stationery, and kitchen supplies

    Answering all incoming phone calls and monitoring of miscellaneous incoming email enquiries

    Management of invoices, expense claims, employee credit cards and reconciliations

    Employees scheduling and liaising with the site manager for optimised routing and staff roster

    Management of fortnightly timesheet and expenses

    Basic bookkeeping and data entry

    Streamlining the information between Australia and UK.

    Act as the 'go to' person in the office 

    Communicating with field staff

    Management and upkeep of all hardware (including maintenance of asset register)

 

Qualifications & experience:

    Strong background in Administration/Operations

    Excellent communication skills

    Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task & prioritise work

    Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

    Intermediate computer skills - Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Dropbox

    Highly organised

    Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
