Ensure that set targets are achieved through the selected Dealer zones, by making use of industry knowledge within the Automotive industry. It is expected from the role to build strong relationships through communication and empathy and to bring value into the Dealership network. The role is to develop and maintain a highly motivated Dealer network, capable of achieving all sales objects as set by Hyundai.
About the role
Train, develop and motivate Dealership team members to achieve and exceed set targets and market objectives
Ensure Dealer standards and development is in line with the terms and conditions of the Dealer agreement, and is being met as per the guideline provide by HMCA
Ensure that internal and Dealer reporting is accurate and on time
Develop and implement business plans and marketing and social media strategies to ensure profitability across the Dealer network
Maintain strong communication lines and Dealer relationships through consistent Dealer visits
Provide feedback to the Regional Senior Manager on Dealer / zone performance, market insights and competitor best practices
Provide feedback on the Dealers performance
Investigate areas of opportunities, develop plans in conjunction with the Dealership, and execute on the plans
Ensure that set targets are achieved on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, including secondary KPI operational targets
Liaise with the HMCA Dealer network, external agencies and Regional staff in conjunction with the key responsibilities of the role
Initiate proactive feedback to Sales Management and other relevant HMCA and HMC staff on any and all matters that might affect the Dealer network
Conduct mystery shop surveys to measure the Dealers product knowledge and processes and how the Dealership is interacting with the customer
Ensure that stock availability is being managed and monitored accordingly
Ensure that the Dealership has plans in place to manage aged stock, over supply issues, sales and marketing and the showroom display
Assist Dealers with accessory sales and ensure that they meet the expected benchmark, and make improvements where required
Monitor data to ensure that the sales metrics are where they need to be
3+ years minimum automotive experience
3+ years experience in a similar role
Sound knowledge of retail and wholesale operations within the automotive industry
Understanding of parts, service and warehouse operations of importer and distributor
Strong sales, marketing and communication skills
Business degree or equivalent
