About Support Services Team
The Support Services Team provides a range of services and supports to Deaf and hard of hearing individuals and their families who have NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) funding. Our services include Family Support, Auslan in the Home, Living Well (individual and group support and walk-in), and Support Coordination. Support Services focuses on supporting individuals and their families as they develop their goals and aspirations.
The Support Services Team currently has a vacancy for an Administrator Officer (Full Time).
This role would suit a highly organised person who has proven administration experience within the disability services industry. This role is integral in establishing efficient and professional administration support that focuses on day-to-day administration, claims to process, and reporting. The role would suit someone with a strong background in administration, systems, and procedures to assist the Support Services in delivering high-quality services to individuals and/or their families.
An ability to use Auslan and communicate with staff in Auslan will be highly regarded.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Proven admin and customer service experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform administrative tasks
- Skills with Microsoft Applications: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain this prior to commencing in the role)
- Previous experience with CRM systems
- Knowledge of a Rights-based approach to disability
- Auslan skills
