LMS Energy is Australias largest emissions reducer and the national leader in biogas-to-energy and solar on landfill. LMS requires the services of a full-time or part-time Purchasing Officer to be based at our Prospect Office in Adelaide, South Australia.  You will be required to report to the Procurement Manager where your role will primarily involve the purchasing of materials, equipment and parts for the Projects and Engineering Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Purchase value for money materials, equipment and parts for the Projects and Engineering Group
  • Act as single point of contact for delivery-related communications
  • Schedule and follow-up on purchases and arrivals, and ensure goods purchased are to required specifications
  • Advise relevant personnel of any discrepancies or price variations promptly
  • Raise purchase orders, receipt of goods, close purchase orders etc.
  • Check purchase orders for accuracy, completeness and clarity
  • Develop effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Provide a high level of customer-service and process improvement
  • Understand codes and legislation that will impact material and equipment purchases
  • Provide administrative support to the Projects and Engineering Group

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years Purchasing/Procurement working experience
  • TechnologyOne Experience is preferable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, such as Excel
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • A team player, great work ethic and shows initiative
