About the role
This newly designed role is part of our Customer Connections Refresh Program (CCRP). This role is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the construction of electrical reticulation and public lighting in Subdivision Developments, including planning, scheduling and management of construction delivery outcomes to meet agreed time frames and budgets.
It will require a lot of problem-solving and provision of construction-related technical advice and support to constructors engaged in the construction of electrical reticulation and public lighting in Subdivision Developments
Building and maintaining relationships with internal & external stakeholders in the successful initiation, implementation and commissioning of electrical reticulation and public lighting in Subdivision Developments
Effectively manage risk, resources, communications and cost control (including variation management) associated with Subdivision Developments, including the provision of risk-based auditing, and drive for a commercial outcome.

Formal qualifications, Cert III in either Distribution or Electro technology or practical experience in electrical engineering, construction/project management ideally in subdivision developments would be required for this position.
You will be required to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. You would monitor, control and report on construction-related costs, including the effective recording and management of variations.
Undertaking audits of contractors engaged in the construction of electrical reticulation and public lighting for Subdivision Developments to ensure their work practices and methodologies are consistent with TasNetworks standards.
