SENIOR OFFICER DIGITAL SPECIALIST
Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) is the Member State charged by Football Australia with the responsibility of growing, developing and promoting the sport of Football throughout northern NSW. Our vision is to be the largest and most popular sport for males and females.
NNSWF seeks to appoint a Digital Specialist who has experience developing and implementing successful and innovative digital marketing and communications plans. The role will underpin the success of a range of commercial activities including but not limited to Football FIVE5, Fast FIVE5, Summer Football, Sidelines Caf, First Touch Football Supplies and Sidelines Function Centre.
The Digital Specialist will play an integral role in the annual recruitment and retention of players and match officials. A range of football development staff including Female Participation, Coach Education, Inclusion and Diversity and Club Development will rely on the successful candidates expertise to promote a myriad of programs of services. The role oversees NNSWFs online presence and includes the development and maintenance of the website network and social media platforms. The person we are looking for will have the following:
KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
A very keen interest in football.;
Relevant tertiary qualification;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Highly organised with a strong attention to detail;
Thorough working knowledge of digital and direct marketing applications;
Passionate about marketing with a creative flair and appreciation of design applications;
Motivated, confident and professional people person with excellent corporate presentation skills;
A proven record of achieving participation and/or revenue targets;
A thorough knowledge, proven skills & experience in managing web content and social media channels, with an understanding of the web environment including user interface and design functionality;
Experience in utilising Word Press and Adobe applications;
Brand guideline management and compliance, with an understanding of brand positioning in relation to online marketing;
Possess solid writing and editorial skills and experience producing original content as well as subediting, maintaining and updating existing content; and
Demonstrated experience in producing and manipulating graphic and video elements for the production of online applications.
Ability to operate independently and as a team member, in a high output environment.
