The bare roots of the job
You will provide key administrative support to the Surrey Hills Mill team to ensure performance objectives and targets are achieved through:
Supporting the production team with the review and control of all quality and logistics documents
Purchasing, training coordination, data input, reconciliation, and reporting
Assistance with contractor management processes
Oversight of wood supply and weighbridge operations and associated systems
Continuous improvement activities including identifying and recommending system and process improvement opportunities
Who will join our journey
As a member of our team you will bring;
Relevant experience working in an autonomous administration role including purchasing, scheduling of training and knowledge of information management principles
Attention to detail, with the ability to analyse and proactively problem solve
Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads with competing priorities
A current drivers licence
High levels of IT literacy including ability to learn new systems
Ability to work with a strong safety focus including the engagement and oversight of delivery contractors
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders with effective conflict resolution skills
