Good Living Global is a leader in the outdoor furniture industry supplying major Retail companies across Australia. We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Manager to assist the company become more efficient and to facilitate further growth of the company.

We have a large warehouse in Erskine Park NSW, with a smaller warehouse in Perth WA, as well as external partners in Queensland/Victoria and South Australia. Full Customer Service office runs within the Erskine Park warehouse/office premises, and would all fall under the scope of this position.

We seek an experienced Manger with warehousing and distribution experience, and a keen interest to get the job done.  A hands on approach is strongly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Create and maintain a safe work environment for all.
  • Ability to manage budgets and prepare related management reports.
  • Review both revenue and costs on a monthly basis for accuracy and opportunities.
  • Hire, train, and develop management team.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the facility including staff management, customer and employee issues, as needed.
  • Track and meet company goals and targets
  • Responsible for the overall planning organizing leading and controlling functions of the Operation Warehouse and Customer Service.
  • Audit facility to confirm compliance with internal procedures as well as accordance with both State and local government regulations.
  • Provide direction to team regarding duties and goals
  • Manage and review all Job descriptions and Job requirements, with a view to overall improvement of operations.
  • Additional General Management/Operational requirements in line with overall Company future plans.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum 4 years Warehousing and Distribution experience.
  • Previous experience in Warehouse Operations Management essential.
  • Proven staff management ability, including staff scheduling, and use of outside contractors.
  • Ability to review and develop full and detailed staff position Job Descriptions, with a view to reviewing and monitoring all roles with the company.
  • Strong people Management skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
  • The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
