About the Role:
Partnering with a team of experienced Business Development Managers you will be the first point of contact for new clients. Using a mix of sales and good solid detective work, you will map out key decision makers and develop a plan on how to engage with them. This isn't a standard inside sales role, you will be given the autonomy to work how you see fit. Utilising a mix of email marketing, LinkedIn and good old fashioned cold calling to engage potential clients and gather information. The end goal is always to schedule an appointment with a Technical BDM (you don't need to be a product expert, that's the BDM's job).
Identifying market opportunities and key stakeholders within target clients
Develop strategy to engage stakeholders in targeted positions/departments
Qualify needs and identify potential opportunities
Engage clients via phone, email, LinkedIn and Video Calling
Work with closely with the team of Business Development Managers to ensure successful outcomes from booked appointments
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
Previous experience in a sales, appointment setting role (in IT industry)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outgoing with the ability to build relationships
Professional telephone manner and ability to work comfortably with c-suite executives
