Borehole Wireline is a progressive and dynamic company providing wireline logging services to the mining industry throughout Australia and overseas. Using the latest logging technology Borehole Wireline provides professional and expert services to our valued clients and are now seeking a Geophysical Loggers to join our operations.
Work is on client sites based in Queensland on a standard roster (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off) however, this may vary subject to business. No previous experience as a wireline logger is required, although previous exposure to mechanical, electrical trades or mining related backgrounds would be advantageous. Comprehensive training will be provided for successful applicants, initially at our Black Forest headquarters (Adelaide) with further on the job training provided in the field.
Successful applicants will demonstrate a strong commitment towards health and safety, plus have the ability to work both un-supervised and as part of a team. In addition to your proficiency with problem solving, your finely tuned communication skills, high attention to detail and strong mechanical aptitude will contribute towards your success as a Logger.
Applicants MUST have a full, clean driver's licence with the ability to drive manuals (truck licences are looked upon favourably, but are not essential). An essential part of the selection process involves a medical assessment, a police clearance check and the position will require regular and ongoing alcohol and drug testing.
Preference will be given to those with Queensland Coal Board Medical, Queensland Standard 11 induction and Queensland Radiation Users licence. Applicants must be able to obtain these once hired.
