THE ROLE WITH TELSTRA RHODES
Working in our frontline retail teams, you will be the face and voice of Telstra! Talking to our new and existing customers, you will deliver personalised service and advice to uncover their individual needs and match them with great solutions.

On any given day, you could be sharing your knowledge about our services or chatting about the latest gadgets we have on offer. You could even be kitting up a customer with wireless devices to keep them connected on the go its a job with plenty of challenge and variety to keep things interesting.
You are a naturally curious and energetic individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. You love engaging with people and have a strong ability to build trust and rapport with each of your customers.

Be able to speak LOTE (language other than English) such as Korean to provide personalised service to our Korean speaking clientele will be highly regarded.
Solution-based selling that effectively meets customer needs through the Telstra Branded Experience conversation model.
Display a strong sense of ownership for complex cases and deliver resolutions through critical thinking and effective problem solving.
Be naturally inquisitive and resilient with an ability to articulate, listen and communicate effectively with customers and peers.
Comply with established sales practices, procedures and legislative requirements including the appropriate handling of customers in vulnerable circumstances.
Champion the adoption of agile principles within the team to constantly improve the customer experience and performance of the business.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU'LL BRING THE FOLLOWING
- Proven sales and customer service success in a front-facing retail environment, and the capacity to achieve targets and Key Performance Indicators,
- An energetic and goal-driven attitude,
- A willingness to solve complex problems and cases,
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written,
- A strong literacy for computing and mobile technology,
- A team-player approach and,
- The flexibility to meet the business operating hours across various sites if required.
