About Dinybulu Lodge: Dinybulu Lodge, an 18 room accommodation facility located in Ramingining, provides clean and comfortable accommodation for all visitors to the community. All rooms have an ensuite bathroom and range from singles, twin and double rooms.
The Lodge is a division of Dinybulu Regional Services, a business partnership started in 2014 after the Bulungkunum Corporation Limited and ALPA acquired the former Ramingining Resource Centre with a vision to further develop and deliver community services in the area. As a subsidiary of ALPA, Dinybulu has the same mission; to operate successful and responsible business, emphasising local employment, training, career pathways, customer service, and safety.
Dinybulu Regional Services includes the Dinybulu Mechanical Services, Homelands Services to six homelands surrounding Ramingining and barge delivery services for ALPA and other businesses in Ramingining. About the role:
On behalf of the Yolgnu traditional owners and under the direction of the Dinybulu Regional Services Manager and Business Manager Enterprise, economically and efficiently manage the daily operations of a 18-room accommodation facility so that it attracts repeat business and provides guests with a positive experience and Yolgnu staff with meaningful training, employment, and career pathways. This position is based in Ramingining Community, Northern Territory
Provide physical and administrative support for the operation of the lodge including stock control, cleaning, equipment management, purchasing, logistics, rostering, scheduling repairs, and undertaking maintenance.
Build and maintain relationships with the Yolgnu staff, and assist them to obtain the development, equipment, and consumables required for them to keep the lodge and other contracted Ramingining locations hygienic, presentable, safe, and well maintained.
Propose and support activities to build the client base including internal and external marketing, promoting online bookings, and community organisation engagement.
Utilise the ALPA Registered Training Organisation to assist in and support the training of Yolgnu staff.
Provide the Dinybulu Regional Services Manager and Business Manager Enterprise with all required reports, accurately and on time; feedback on the performance of Yolgnu staff, and the status of planned improvements.
As directed, participate in meetings, training, and community forums.
Skills and Experience
Experience managing staff in a physical work environment where duties included cleaning, food preparation, managing equipment, ordering stock, and developing staff skills.
Experience in adhering to and reporting key performance indicators in a supervisory role.
Highly effective interpersonal skills including proficient written and oral communication skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities, and ethnic origin.
Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
An ability to obtain and maintain a NT driving license.
Qualifications in hospitality or business management desirable .
Experience working with Aboriginal people in a remote environment desirable.

11.5% super + 7 weeks annual leave + Salary Sacrificing
