About us: The Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) is a professional organisation that represents over 8500 veterinarians and students across Australia. Our member veterinarians are experts in animal health and welfare and one of Australias most trusted and respected professions. Our organisation promotes and leads scientific progress and outcomes in the field of Veterinary Science.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the AVA Operations Management Team, to lead AVA Marketing and execute on our digital, social, and multi channel campaigns with a view to grow our engagement with members. This is an opportunity to promote and support the needs of Veterinary professionals connecting the profession and practices and to take AVA to the next level.
This is a new, interesting and varied position that develops and implements the Marketing and Digital strategy, along with developing internal delivery frameworks and oversees the marketing team. Key to success, this role will partner with a number of stakeholders and areas to support the strategic agenda and support the Veterinary profession via a digital medium. The National Manager Marketing, Digital and Content will collaborate with stakeholders across the association to produce high quality marketing communications, content, and campaigns connecting AVA with its members, non-members and the public.
You will lead a small marketing team, and have access to other specialist roles within our National Office based in Sydney.
As our ideal candidate, you will demonstrate:
Formal qualifications in Marketing or related fields
Proven track record in delivering successful Marketing campaigns from conception to completion
Demonstrated leadership skills
Experience in creating and implementing operational Marketing policies and procedures
High degree of aptitude with digital marketing, systems and analytics Exceptional organisation and planning skills
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
Well developed stakeholder management skills
