Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, A broad role with a focus on process improvement and system development, Work collaboratively across the business.Established in 1972, the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) is South Australia’s leading screen authority and investment body, supporting the development, growth and promotion of the state’s screen production sector.
As the most experienced screen agency in Australia the SAFC focuses on supporting, positioning and championing South Australian screen businesses to achieve creative excellence and prosperity, contributing to a robust South Australian economy and creative vibrancy through production of a diverse slate of feature film, television and digital screen projects.
This newly created position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the SAFC achieves its purpose.
Reporting to the COO you will responsible for all aspects of financial operations as well as assisting with the provision of corporate services in areas including HR, IT systems, Facilities and Administrative functions. You and your team will provide the analysis of the impact of operational decisions, developing reports and financial forecasts that will assist with decision making.
We need a commercially astute CA/CPA ready to roll up their sleeves, who can quickly get to know the business and establish strong relationships across the organisation. You will have high attention to detail and proven experience in financial management. You will also bring your expertise in process improvement to ensure that the SAFC’s systems, processes and internal controls will deliver operational excellence for the agency.
