Contracts Administrator | Perth Construction/Project

We have a great opportunity for a Contracts Administrator to join an established industrial technology and renewable energy company. This is a Full-time Permanent position based south of Perth, WA.

 

This company is well-established in the industrial, renewable energy, and mining industries for their electrical technology and capabilities. They provide safe, end-to-end solutions for their customers across Australia and have strong long-standing relationships with industry leaders.

As a key member in a growing business were looking to develop a proactive Contracts Administrator who will drive performance, support and advise the Project Delivery Team, and maintain the integrity of contract information & processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and advise to the Pre-Contracts and Project Delivery Team
  • Reviewing terms and conditions of client purchase orders, as well as subcontractor contracts
  • Assist in negotiating client and subcontractor contracts as well as facilitating the final execution of contracts including commercial and technical due diligence.
  • Develop, implement, manage and advise on commercial and contractual risks.
  • Day to Day management and administration of client and subcontractor contracts
  • Timely advise and support to Project Team as per contract
  • Establish and maintain appropriate client and supplier relationships
  • Attend and report to internal project forecasting meetings
  • Proactive, timely and effective reporting of contracts 

Experience and Requirements

  • Specialist training in contract law and/or administration
  • Strong background in contracts related to project/construction environments
  • High attention to detail and understanding of commercial contracts
  • Contract review and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to provide timely and detailed advise on contracts, management strategies and issues
  • Contract review and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using Pronto financial MS (desirable)
