EOI Site Supervisor

We are now accepting expression of interests for a Site Supervisor (General Building & Maintenance). 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a team leadership role with an eclectic trade-based skillset. To be fulfilled in the role, you would enjoy helping our clients find solutions to their building maintenance issues. You would be the go to person for our trades team to develop cost effective and time efficient repairs and improvements to a range of commercial and public spaces from schools to museums to hospitals. 

We are looking for individuals who are flexible, have pride in their work, believe safety is a choice and seek out innovative preventative maintenance solutions to add value to our client experience.

Your key responsibilities at Protek247 will include:

  • Developing job scopes from client requests with attention to detail around site logistics and safe work methods
  • Assisting Estimators with pricing using previous experience and understanding of job processes
  • Conducting site audits and pre-start meetings to support our core safety values
  • Troubleshooting on-site technical queries from trades and clients
  • Identifying material requirements, record quantities and profiles
  • Organising and purchasing materials with focus on building supplier relationships
  • Assisting in overall scheduling and resource management
  • Attending site meetings punctually, prepared and well presented

 

Requirements:

  • Previous 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory position
  • Proven trade background (carpentry preferred)
  • Working at Heights certificate (current within the last year) 
  • Construction Blue/White Card
  • National Police Clearance (current within the last year) 
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test
  • Valid C-Class drivers licence and a reliable trade suitable vehicle (with roof racks)
  • Flexibility, initiative and a can-do attitude
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask 
  • Solid safety culture background 
  • Competence using iPads and basic computer knowledge 
  • Ability to work in a hands-on trade role when required

 

Desirable:

  • Trade certificate or equivalent
  • HRWL (Forklift and EWP)
  • Truck licences (HR or MR)
  • First Aid
  • Own basic hand tools
