About the role:
The role is pivotal to our ongoing success. KC Facility Services is seeking a highly talented and energetic Business Development Manager with the focus to develop new business opportunities throughout Australia.
Essential to this role is someone who can build on our solid base by delivering new, innovative and inspiring solutions.
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Winning new business and developing relationships with potential customers
Developing new relationships in an effort to grow business opportunities.
Develop new marketing and promotional strategies to promote the company.
Compile proposals and present to clients and prospects.
Developing quotations and tender responses
Respond to tender requests and be able to present at shortlisting stage.
Generate leads and convert into customers.
Successfully transitioning new business to the Operation team
What you will need to succeed:
Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies
Experience in identifying and winning profitable tenders and contracts
Commercial acumen and the initiative to hunt down and close new business opportunities.
Ability to transform Client expectations into practical solutions
Ideally, you will have an existing network of contacts in the property services sector.
Be highly self-motivated, with the capability and aspiration to play an integral part in the development of the business.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including negotiation and influencing skills with a proven track record of pitching for new business.
At least 5 years experience of selling in the facility services industry or similar markets.
Must be computer proficient i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point.
Outgoing, driven and highly passionate in all your dealings.
Must be able to travel interstate.
Must be able to strategically close a deal.
Must be able to work autonomously and set tasks and goals.
Must have a can-do attitude; be highly goal driven and have dedication to getting results.
