Location: Manuka, Canberra 
Employment Type: Full-time three year fixed-term
Salary Range: Grade 5 Step 1 to Step 3 ($97,161 to $104,637 + Superannuation)
Start Date: Negotiable

Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra & Goulburn plays an integral role in education both in the ACT and NSW operating 56 Schools and 8 Early Learning Centres.

About the Role

The Information Manager within the CE Office will be responsible for all aspects of corporate records management in line with Government standards and legislative requirements. This will include developing, promoting, interpreting and applying records management practices across the CE Office.

About You

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing guidance and advice on the management of HPE Records Manager and  integrated applications, while managing quality improvements for electronic records for the Catholic Education Office.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in the management and maintenance of electronic document applications through TRIM including file creation, retention schedules, security, and classification schemes to establishing user profiles and security access.
  • Demonstrated experience in a records management program including the ability to develop and interpret and apply records management practices in line with Government standards and regulations.
  • Tertiary or relevant qualifications/ experience in records management and TRIM.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to train and motivate staff in the use of an electronic based records management system and promote the benefits of effective records management.
  • Well-developed organisational skills with strong customer focus and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in the review and management of all matters pursuant to the Government Standards and Regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Professional experience and working knowledge with computer software packages including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
