For a family-owned sheep property in Tubbut, far East Gippsland, Victoria.
We are looking for a permanent, full-time station hand/overseer. We are flexible for the right person; maybe you are young and looking for more experience and responsibility, or highly experienced and looking to slow down. Practical knowledge of lamb farming, electric fencing and general farm operations are essential.
Tubbut Farms is a store/fat lamb operation of 2-3000 Dorper ewes across 4500 acres.
The farm is well-resourced and maintained across both infrastructure and equipment.

This role will be mostly independent/autonomous and under the direction of the owner/manager.
We are seeking a person who:
Is organised, self-motivated and enjoys working alone.
Has a sound understanding of livestock management.
Has practical mechanical & operational skills.
Is physically capable of undertaking rigorous manual tasks.
Is computer literate and has good communication skills.
The role will include all livestock operations, maintenance of equipment and infrastructure in a timely manner. You will be expected to take initiative and an active interest in the success of the farming operation. You will provide input to the annual and longer-range plans.
You will require the following licenses and accreditation, should you not have them, we will facilitate and pay for you to acquire them: motor vehicle license, chemical users certificate and a firearms licence.
