The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to provide administrative and project support to our internal modification/manufacturing business. This role is pivotal in seamlessly delivering a modified container proposal from concept through to delivery to site. This hands-on role will be responsible for the coordination of the project, including but not limited to; preparing and maintaining project schedules, documentation preparation, invoicing and purchasing, customer liaison/correspondence on general & technical inquiries, delivery & project installation locally and regionally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with an eye for detail, strong time management and a decisive but collaborative problem solver. This role will require daily interaction across multiple teams (sales, design, engineering, fabrication as well as the customer) and from time to time this role may require visitation to customer sites. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide contract administrative support, documentation preparation and organisation
  • Post-sale negotiation, contract variations, scope alterations
  • Management & interpretation of shop drawings
  • Preparing project schedules and maintenance registers
  • Key customer point of contact 
  • Scheduling / DIFOT
  • Tracking deliverables of stock, major equipment items and other supplies required for the successful completion of a project 
  • Data maintenance & integrity within Office Dynamics CRM system
  • Document control and project close out

 

About You

  • Previous relevant experience in project administration/supervision
  • High level understanding of either fabrication/manufacturing / construction
  • Highly organised and process-driven with a customer-centric focus
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
  • Customer relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Microsoft Office (excel, word) Intermediate level
  • An understanding of WHS legislation
