The Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understanding key drivers of variances, presenting Financial accounts and work with relevant stakeholders to drive opportunities and improvement in profitability and business values
  • Preparation of financial statement, overheads budget, actual, and comparative to forecast analysis
  • Monitor and manage debtors, working with sales, marketing and operation team for timely and accurate recording, billing and payment collections
  • Ensuring accurate Revenue Recognition and rebate calculation
  • Assist in preparing Annual Budgets and monthly Quality Rolling forecasts
  • Ensuring all expense accrual and prepayment accounts are properly maintained and reconciled monthly
  • Oversee the fixed asset register, prepayments, intercompany schedule and associated accounting
  • Reconcile inter-company accounts, month-end journals
  • Monthly closing Journals entries i.e. recurring, provisions, accruals & Inventory etc
  • Ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and available for review
  • Preparation of Tax related reports like BAS, GST and FBT
  • Other ad hoc Management and Financial reports as required
  • Overseas shipment & Local transport management
  • Daily HR & Office Administration works

 

Qualifications & Experiences 

We need a proactive and motivated person who takes ownership, enjoys working as part of a team while also valuing autonomy. For this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience

  • 2+ years of experience preferred but not essential
  • Have a sound understanding of accounting standards with an ability to apply them
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage with employees and senior stakeholders and build effective working relationships across the firm
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • MYOB and SAP experience preferred or equivalent ERP system.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English and Korean
