About the Role

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the role has responsibility of recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of employees, labour hire / temporary workers and volunteers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruitment
    • Preparing job adverts
    • Posting ads
    • Phone screening
    • Organising interviews
    • Interviewing applicants
    • Conducting background / reference checks
    • Identifying different methods of recruitment including online campaigns
    • Building our volunteer pool through engagement campaigns
    • Liaising with external recruitment agencies
  • Onboarding
    • o Managing the electronic onboarding process
    • Checking compliance documentation has been received during the onboarding process
    • Organising and Sending new employee training schedules
    • Welcoming new employees
    • Issuing equipment, ID cards and uniforms
  • Offboarding
    • Managing the electronic offboarding process
    • Collecting returned company equipment

What you need to succeed

  • Previous experience in recruitment
  • Have the ability to prioritise
  • Well organised with a high attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Resilience with a good level of emotional intelligence
  • To provide a National Police Clearance (not older than 6 months) when offered the role
  • To provide or complete a NDIS Worker Screening Check when offered the role
  • Be willing to have a COVID-19 vaccination
  • Be willing to have an influenza vaccination
  • The right to work in Australia

It would be an advantage to have:

  • Experience in the use of Subscribe HR or another type of applicant tracking software
  • Qualifications in Human Resources
