Spare Parts Interpreter / Coordinator

Having expanded our product range and markets serviced (e.g. rail & aviation), we remain a leading brand in the sector and are the only company to design and engineer our OEM product in Australia. 

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a full-time spare parts interpreter/coordinator to be the primary contact for all spare parts orders and inquiries across Australia.

We need someone who wants to make their mark by taking responsibility for the end to end parts operation of the business, ensuring the right procedures and processes are in place to get the correct part supplied, first time, every time.

The role can be based in Melbourne (Dandenong) or Sydney (Wetherill Park) and is not a short term or contract position, it is critical to the growth of Coachair and will offer the right person a long-term career path. 

THE PERSON

  • You MUST have experience selling/interpreting/advising in spare parts. Ideally in auto electrical, but automotive, truck, or bus experience will also be highly regarded.
  • Customer focused
  • Self motivated and driven.
  • Great communication and negotiation skills
  • Well organised, with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks at once, prioritising appropriately and delivering the result.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Above average computer skills
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Parts interpretation across multiple communication streams (i.e phone, text, email, internal & online store)
  • Manage and coordinate spare parts supplies to all branches, field technicians, and consignment stock customers nationally.
  • Provide assistance in setting stock levels and forecasting of parts requirements.
  • Provide suggestions for specials and promotions
  • Monitor and report on sales revenue and market trends.
  • Product sourcing
  • Stock management
  • Customer relations
