In Vitro Technologies is a medical and scientific distribution organisation who specialise in the sales, marketing and support of products throughout Australia and New Zealand. We are currently seeking motivated and passionate professional to join our National Distribution Centre as an Inwards Goods Specialist, based in Noble Park.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role is primarily involved in the day to day handling of Inwards Goods, ensuring accurate, on time receipt and put away. This will include storing of goods as required with a high level of accuracy and detail. Being in the Healthcare industry, batch and serial number conformance is prevalent on most of our products and experience with dealing with cold chain, dangerous goods or equipment will assist with a highly rewarding role.
Meeting daily team based Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and taking a proactive approach to ensure high quality and accurate receipt of product is a crucial component of this role. Attention to detail, versatility and high cognition skills and getting it right first time are critical components of a highly rewarding role.
This role will join a small sized team of warehousing individuals with varying tasks in a highly visual and complex environment within a critical Healthcare industry. A can-do attitude and a customer focus approach will ensure the outcomes are driven from the heart of our Distribution operation.
Primary responsibilities include
Arrival Journal creation and coordination
Booking in of inbound inventory within zoned guidelines and within KPI timeframes
Inventory Control in line with zoning requirements
Control of all inbound distribution paperwork
Reporting where required
Support day to day operations of the warehouse and other duties in line with general picking and packing as directed.
The successful candidate will have experience including:
At least 4 years experience in a distribution, warehouse, logistics or fulfillment operation.
Prior experience with Inwards goods coordination is preferable
Basic ability to demonstrate skills in typing, & Microsoft office applications including word, excel, and outlook
Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 2012 or D365 is preferable
General administration in an organization
Intermediate written and verbal communication skills
Capable of self-managing or forming part of a team
Ability to take ownership to ensure outcomes are met
Salary will be negotiable and based on experience & qualifications
