ManpowerGroup and the Australian Defence Force (ADF) work in partnership to recruit Defence personnel for the Navy, Army and Air Force. This Recruitment Process Outsourcing model is one of the largest of its kind globally. This collaboration, known as Defence Force Recruiting (DFR), utilises the skills and knowledge of Defence Force personnel and ManpowerGroup employees to achieve capability for the ADF.
About the Role
The National Media Manager is responsible for the strategic management of campaign and non-campaign media across all DFR advertising. The successful candidate will lead a small team to develop, implement and drive media strategies and plans, with a focus on reporting and optimisation to ensure delivery of long term brand propensity and short term recruitment results.
The role is responsible for:
Create and drive DFRs media strategy across television, cinema, digital, online and tactical channels
Work closely with the Australian Government Master Media Agency (MMA)
Identify content integration opportunities
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, government agencies and suppliers to achieve business objectives
Coach, mentor and develop team members to enable and empower their career development
Act as the subject matter expert to support Defence stakeholders
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in media, preferably in a leadership role. In addition, they will have:
A degree in media, communications or marketing
Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and driving a digital media strategy
Experience in marketing mix modelling and econometric forecasting (desirable)
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability in managing stakeholder relationships with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise and manage their own and their teams workload to meet deadlines
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
To be successful in this role, you must be an Australian Citizen as well as be able to obtain a security clearance.
