About the business

Lipa has been in the business of manufacturing complementary healthcare products for both Australia and overseas since 1995 employing a large local workforce.

Recently the business has undergone a change in leadership with a new CEO and Chief Manufacturing Officer. With this, there is a renewed focus and energy, on building a great team and culture to take the business forward.

Due to ongoing growth, we require experienced Production Operators to work within our fast paced manufacturing facility - day, afternoon and night shifts are available.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to be trained across all areas of Production including dispensing, granulation, mixing, compressing, coating and liquid manufacturing. 

Duties of the role

  • Set up and operate machinery
  • Accurately complete batch card documentation
  • Clean and maintain machinery as per training and instructions
  • Perform production line "changeovers" 
  • Complying with Standard Operating Procedures, Work / Shop Floor Instructions and other procedures
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP)
  • To be responsible for the quality of your own work

Skills & experience

  • Previous work experience in a food or FMCG or Pharmaceutical environment would be a distinct advantage
  • Mechanical aptitude (experience as a machine operator)
  • Physically fit, as heavy lifting will be required
  • Previous exposure to a GMP environment (desirable)
  • The ability to read and write English to follow detailed instructions
  • High attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
  • Committed, reliable and have a strong work ethic
  • Your own reliable transport (Lipa is not easily accessible by public transport)
