About the role
Joining our highly effective Regulation team, you will play a critical role in analysing proposed regulatory changes and drawing conclusions on revenue and market regulation matters.
You willundertake research, analysis, problem solving and provide advice to Powerlink employees, business leaders,customers and external bodies. Ownership of the maintenance and accuracy of the register of energy regulatory matters is a key responsibility.
Where required, you will alsosupport Powerlinks regulatory determination process.
With a customer-oriented approach, you have previous success in theidentification, analysis, coordination and communication of revenue andmarket-related matters internally and/or externally, ideally within a power systems, energy, or other networked utility environment.
Along with yourwealth of experience in a utility-related field that includes data modelling (financial or economic), you havedegree-level qualifications in either Engineering, Business, Economics, Law or another area relevant to energy regulation.
You have strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detail analysis of complex issues, and your ability to influence a range of customers and stakeholders has seen you become a trusted source of advice and information.
Your well-developed problem solving skills will also be critical to allow you to appropriately respond to business matters which may have potential regulatory ramifications.
