As Workforce Analytics move through the next phase of their growth, there is now a need for a UX Design Lead to join the team. You will be the first in-house Design Lead and have the ability to grow a team and build on the foundations that have been set from our UX and technology consultants. In this role you will be responsible for the UX design of all our products and oversee their successful UX and UI design, delivery, launch and scale through the scale up lifecycle. The UX Design Lead will be expected to design the overall functionality of the product and ensure a great user experience.
Managing the design of a suite of products across the company.
Designing and creating new products within the suite and extending existing products
Lead discussions with stakeholders, customers and team to determine the product direction
Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Ask smart questions and champion new ideas
Lead products across multiple squads within Workforce Analytics
Skills and Experience
At least 4 years experience in UX/CX
At least 1 year leading/managing other designers, preferred.
Experience working in an agile environment is essential
Your portfolio should demonstrate diverse product exposure across start-up/scale-up and corporate environments
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders
Be comfortable “being on the tools” in the early stages while the design team is being built.
Ability to work with the team internally to understand requirements and design complete user experiences that align to foundations of the interface that has already been set
A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, and analytics.
Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
Possess the ability to turn ambiguous ideas into tangible, design solutions.
Is passionate about UX Design, Strategic Design, Service Design and building successful startups.
A positive attitude and ability to move quickly with changing requirements
