THE ROLE Ampion is currently experiencing rapid growth and as such we currently have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our fantastic team. With our people being at the heart of what we do, it’s no wonder that Talent Acquisition plays a pivotal role in our ongoing evolution and growth. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and driven talent professional with experience (internal and/or agency) preferably specialising in Testing & QA roles, Project Services or Development. This role can be performed remotely however, focuses on attracting talent in the VIC market. You may be required to attend your local office (Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Brisbane) 1-2 days per week.
End-to-end technology Talent Acquisition experience (internal and/or agency) specialising in Testing & QA. Additionally, experience across Automation, Development, IT Security & Digital Engineering is highly regarded
Previous responsibility for the full recruitment cycle – learn the job details, plan the candidate search strategy, headhunting talent and other innovative sourcing methods
Crafting job advertisements, shortlist applications, phone screen candidates, schedule interviews, provide feedback and take ownership of the process to enable a great experience for candidates and hiring managers
Letters and contract preparation and administer new starter paperwork
Onboarding new employees and new starter support
Ensure all pre-employment and compliance checks in line with company policy and relevant legislation
Familiarity with job boards, databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (Preferably Job Adder)
Experience using professional social networks (LinkedIn, in particular)
Providing general administrative support, such as answering enquiries, ensuring Applicant Tracking System is always kept up to date with all relevant information
Be instrumental in shaping Ampion’s employer branding content
Research and build knowledge of the competitive landscape in order to anticipate and overcome potential obstacles
Support communication and other activities between the Talent Acquisition Team, our candidates and hiring managers
Excellent teamwork skills and a professional attitude
Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
Outstanding organisation skills
An eye for detail, with the ability to self-manage and set priorities
Formal Human Resources qualifications
Agency experience is desirable
