As the Technical Service Centre Lead you will be joining one of the world's leading organisations, providing advanced technology and intelligent solutions to the Aerospace and Defence Industries.
Your primary focus is to supervise the Service Centre technicians, maintain the Service Centre and perform avionics repairs when required (to Component Level). The successful candidate will be the customer focal point, ensuring repairs are completed on time and maintaining customer satisfaction.
As the Service Centre Lead you will be responsible for:
The Service Centre team meeting operational KPI’s.
The team meeting delivery schedules at the required level of productivity and quality.
Workforce planning and resource management.
Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resource allocation.
Liaise with customers to support their needs and to enhance customer satisfaction.
Be a change management champion striving for continuous improvement.
In order to be successful in this role you will have:
DASR-145 and/or Military experience repair workshop experience
Experience with avionics troubleshooting and repair to component level.
Be familiar troubleshooting avionics equipment such as Flight Control Computers, Radio Communication, Navigation,as well as Multifunction Displays and control panels.
Knowledge in RF/Digital/Analog theory and application is highly desired.
Associated degree or a cert IV in trade discipline or equivalent work experience
Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)
Proven team leading experience in a similar role, demonstrating leadership skills and resource planning and workforce development.
Must be an Australian Citizen and required to pass a Federal Police Check and National Security Clearance.
