Project/Contracts Support

 Enviropipes is a rapidly growing Australian owned Company. We are based in High Wycombe, near Perth Airport and seek a special individual to join our team. We specialise in the manufacture of quality plastic piping solutions, in particular high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe and fittings.

This position would include a diverse range of duties inclusive of providing assistance to the contract co-ordinator in reviewing, negotiating and management of contracts, assist with the co-ordination of activities relating to project deliveries, review and maintenance of ISO and Australian standards and providing administration assistance to the sales team.

To ensure your success in the role, you will have well developed computer skills, strong verbal and written communication in the English language, exercise sound decision making and problem solving skills and have been involved in project co-ordination.  This is a busy and challenging position and requires a special individual who is well organised with strong attention to detail, is able to learn quickly, use their initiative and has a sense of humor.

Drawing on previous experience, you will be:

  • Working with the project team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within specification and in compliance with the contract
  • Demonstrating your strong commercial acumen and ability to think outside the box
  • Providing commercial and contractual advice on supply tenders to the sales team and Company Directors
  • Negotiating and managing contracts, variations and project close outs
  • Liaising with freight forwarders and third party suppliers
  • Assisting the quality and sales team to maintain, review and audit of QMS and other standards with a view to assist with improving process efficiencies
  • Able to draw on your knowledge of Australian Standard requirements (in particular ISO9001, AS/NZS4130 and AS/NZS4129)
  • Provide administration assistance to the team as required and as reasonably expected for the role

Skills and Experiences:

  • A can do attitude with the ability to take initiative and problem solve
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language
  • Ability to work effectively in a high pressure fast paced office
  • Ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new challenges
  • Software knowledge of Triumph and Epicor would be advantageous
  • Knowledge and skills relating to project management and commercial supply contracts within the polyethylene manufacturing industry will be highly regarded.
