Vecta is an Australian company, located in Seven Hills (NSW), specialising in manufacturing communications products for mobile networks. To support growth opportunities, we are seeking an Office Administrator in our small, busy office.  The successful applicant will need to be confident and capable of working closely with others throughout the business, including external stakeholders and customers. 

Key responsibilities

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Providing admin support to a small, growing team of busy people, locally, interstate and internationally.
  • Communicating with customers to always deliver a very good service experience 
  • Utilising typical computer tools:  Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook
  • Utilising typical on-line accounting (although not for accounting purposes) and cloud storage tools
  • Data entry, creating documents and understanding basic spreadsheets, reports, etc
  • Interpreting information to identify problems and use initiative to resolve these
  • General office admin duties

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A can-do attitude, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal attributes
  • Ability to work under pressure, autonomously and to utilise good organisational, prioritisation and team skills
  • Great ethics, including motivation, honesty, reliability and respect
  • Awareness of ERP/MRP systems would be desirable
