YDL Stone is one of Australia's leading suppliers and distributors of engineered stone surfaces (quartz stone), mainly used for kitchen benchtops. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Manager to join our fast and dynamic team with a great culture.
About the Role
This role is suitable for someone based in southern/northern part of Sydney. You will be responsible for growing your clientele by promoting a range of quality products to various stone Fabricators, Cabinet Makers, Builders, Architects, and Designers.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate or provide the following:
Previous sales experience in the building industry is preferred. It is advantageous within the trade construction, architects, designers, builders.
Hold a current full NSW Driver Licence
Require confidence and competence in using various computer software & mobile APPs, mainly Microsoft Office Word and Excel, CRM etc.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Able to thrive under pressure
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work within a team
Able to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets & KPI's set by the company
Able to build relations with customers & cold calling
Able to work autonomously in a mobile setting
Able to handle customer complaints and attend to site inspections
Regional business travel is required, overnight/away from home for a few days per trip
Occasional out of hours of work required to attend exhibition shows
