About the Role
Position: Vehicle Repairs Scheduler
Our business is a major rental car and truck vehicle business in Welshpool. In this role you will be responsible to manage damaged vehicles to be repaired in a fast and timely manner by sourcing out appropriate suppliers to perform the repairs. It is highly important damaged vehicles are repaired quickly and efficiently. You will have the ability to meet deadlines. You will have exceptional customer service.
If you have worked in the motor trade, then this job is for you. Working in a modern office with hours of only 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Contact suppliers to ensure vehicles are repaired fast and efficient to enable the vehicle to be back on the road in a fast and timely manner.
Transport or arrange for transport of vehicles to suppliers for repairs where required.
Scheduling vehicles for repairs. Ensure vehicles are repaired urgently with high importance.
Authorising and creating repair orders and data entry into multiple systems.
Assessing vehicle damage and estimating the cost and time for required repairs.
Record and review photographic evidence of damage
Quality service to ensure vehicles repaired to the highest standard.
Handling customer complaints in an effective manner to ensure a positive outcome.
Keeping all parties to the repair process informed as to the status of the vehicle and its repairs.
Issuing purchase orders and approving invoices electronically.
Preparing invoices for recovery of costs in a timely manner.
Co-ordinating with service department if services can be scheduled in conjunction with vehicle down time due to repairs.
Assisting with answering overflow calls.
Training and liaising with other staff on procedures for damaged vehicles
To be successful in this role you will have:
An ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels.
Have good problem solving resolution skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accurately records data into the multiple computer systems.
Strong working knowledge of the automotive industry.
Ability to meet establish deadlines and be able to work in a fast pace environment.
Must be a team player with good work ethics and have a can do positive attitude.
Residence Status Must be resident or have valid visa for working rights to work in Australia. A VEVO check will be conducted to ensure compliance
Further Requirements of the Position
Current drivers license; and
must comply with the organisations occupational health, safety and welfare policies and procedures; and
wear appropriate safety equipment; and
have an eye for detail, able to work without supervision and be physically fit.
