About the Role

Position: Vehicle Repairs Administration Clerk 

Our business is a major rental car and truck vehicle business in Welshpool. In this role you will be responsible to perform data processing in multiple systems to ensure vehicles that are damaged are repaired quickly and within a timely manner. 

You will have a solid background in data entry/administration across multiple systems. 

You will have the ability to meet deadlines.

You must be willing to learn new databases and be available for back up to the service department.

You will have exceptional customer service.

Duties include:

  • Process quickly and efficiently, information gathering from various sources.  Contact suppliers to ensure vehicles are repaired fast and efficient to enable the vehicle to be back on the road in a fast and timely manner.
  • Creating repair orders and data entry into multiple systems.
  • Issuing purchase orders and electronically processing invoices through the workflow system.
  • Preparing invoices for recovery of costs in a timely manner.
  • Recording and reviewing photographic evidence of damage.
  • Evaluating the required cost and time for common types of repairs.
  • Handling customer and supplier queries in an effective manner to ensure a positive outcome.
  •  Answering telephone calls. 
  • Assisting other workers when required.
  • Assisting Vehicle Repairs Scheduler to ensure vehicles are repaired urgently with high importance. 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Ability to learn new databases.
  • An ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels.
  • Must be a team player with good work ethics and have a can do positive attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurately records data into the multiple computer systems.
  • Working knowledge of the automotive industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to meet establish deadlines and able to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Experience in a vehicle repair business is advantageous but not necessary.

Residence Status Must be resident or have valid visa for working rights to work in Australia. A VEVO check will be conducted to ensure compliance

Further Requirements of the Position 

  • Current drivers license; and 
  • must comply with the organisations occupational health, safety and welfare policies and procedures; and
  • wear appropriate safety equipment; and
  • have an eye for detail, and able to work without supervision.
