Health Care practice Part-time Receptionist

About the role:

A permanent, part time position is available in one of the most vital parts of our practice; reception. This position is high-intensity and demanding, which would complement an individual who enjoys varied and busy roles. The applicant must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and confidence with the use of technology is advantageous. It is a part time role that would suit a confident and capable student or a strongly focused individual looking for a reduced workload. 

Duties, including and not limited to:

  • Engage and greet clients with a smile and energetic manner;
  • Maintain the diary of client bookings, whilst managing the independent diary of the director;
  • Maintain clinical records, including the preparation of files, mapping and management of client plans;
  • General reception duties, including answering the phone, financial transactions and bank reconciliation;
  • Management of client and practice flow;
  • Tracking and reaching KPIS;
  • Assisting the chiropractors in the delivery of care, through chiropractic assistant duties;
  • Management of projects including webinars and seminars, meeting deadlines, event planning.

Essential criteria:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, client focused role;
  • A warm and engaging personality, willing to go the extra mile to deliver outstanding service;
  • An ability to deal with people in a tactful, sensitive manner;
  • Exceptional skills in the use of technology;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to take ownership and direction in your projects, with strong attention to detail.

The working hours are between 12-15+ hours per week, though more hours are available for the right applicant. There are both early starts (7am) and late finishes (6.30pm), though not on the same day.
