The main responsibilities will include:


        Take delivery of goods delivered into the store with the use of forklifts, reach truck and cranes, where required. 
         Ensure goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner, checking for damages and quantity. 
        Correctly entering transactions on the ERP to ensure accuracy of stock
        Put materials away in stores after deliveries, in a FIFO order.
        Organising all stock in line with OPS inventory receiving, dispatch and management procedures
        Cleaning and repackaging of stock
        Accurately picking and packing materials ready for collection and for issuing to jobs, using the IT equipment provided.
        Carry out cycle counts
        Assist with stock checks and stock-take, where required.
        Reporting stock discrepancies to your supervisor and investigating causes for discrepancies.
        Keeping the storeroom clean, tidy and free of any potential hazards or risks
        Ensure that good despatched conform to required OPS standards.

Deliveries and Collections

          To ensure all internal and external customers receive a courteous service
        To make deliveries and collections from various locations in the metro area and further afield where necessary, to external customers and suppliers.
        To ensure safe loading and unloading of materials onto vehicles and assisting colleagues in this task where necessary
        Ensuring materials are secure on any vehicles to enable safe transportation and to avoid any loss or damage.
        Keep all vehicles well maintained and clean as per OPS policy and report any damage immediately.

To be successful for this role, you must have the following.
        Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
        Experience with PRONTO Software (would be an advantage)
        Methodical, organized, and able to work on own initiative
        C class Drivers Licence (Manual preferred)
        'LR Class Manual License ( Preferred)
        Current forklift certificate
        Current Crane License (Dogman seen as an advantage) 3 + years relevant industry experience as a Store person.
