Marketing and Events Officer

Niche Education Group is a well-established RTO, encompassing the following business divisions:

  • Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science (AACDS)
  • Australian College of Beauty Therapy (ACBT)
  • Australian College of Specialist Make-up (ACSM)
  • Australasian College of Massage & Myotherapy (ACMM)
  • Aesthetics CPD
  • Aspire Training Clinics (Perth, Sydney and Melbourne)

Due to organisational growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, pro-active and passionate Marketing Officer. This is a multi-faceted role, with the opportunity of making it your own.

This is a full-time role,

The Role:

Marketing

  • Develop and implement social media strategies that grow brand engagement, followers and increase our online presence
  • Plan, create and share content for the Colleges social media accounts
  • Plan, create and implement paid social campaigns (Facebook/Instagram)
  • Plan, coordinate, shoot and edit quality visual content (video & imagery) for social media, with a special focus on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube)
  • To monitor social media activity and organise appropriate responses
  • Working across all business divisions of Niche To work with the Senior Marketing Officer to help create promotional material, e.g. collate course information, student case studies etc
  • Assist the Senior Marketing Co-ordinator with on-going website updates and maintenance
  • Assist with development of all marketing collateral
  • To remain up-to-date with developments and trends in on-line communication and social media, suggesting new ideas to enhance marketing activity
  • Ensure brand identity guidelines are adhered to across entire business

Events

  • Scope includes local, national and on-site events
  • Develop overall event strategy
  • Actively seek out which events we should attend according to marketing and brand strategy
  • Develop a yearly calendar of all events
  • Coordinate planning, setups and delivery of events
  • Coordinating internal and external resources to deliver events
  • Review and report on events performance

  • Natural problem-solver with the confidence to tackle challenges independently

Skills Required:

  • Have a passion for marketing
  • Proven ability to develop social media content to suit different industries, objectives and target audiences
  • Skilled in photography and videography (lighting, composition, and editing), with a well developed creative eye
  • Marketing qualification, or willing to work towards one
  • At least 2 years working within a similar role, in a marketing department in-house or agency
  • Experience using Facebook Business Manager to plan and execute paid social campaigns
  • Experience using Mailchimp
