Reporting to the Manager Major Project , the Senior Project Manager will be based onsite in NSW. Youll be responsible for the successful delivery of allocated projects to ensure completion in accordance with all Safety, Environmental, Time, Quality and Cost objectives

This role requires:

  • Execute all Project specific plans in line with PMBOK principles and incorporating Quanta Lines management systems.
  • Control project programming, cost, time, quality, purchasing, contract administration, general site administration and the activities of sub-contractors.
  • Authorise construction planning, programming, and on-site completion schedules.
  • Liaise with the Construction Manager / Supervisor regularly to monitor project progress and manage issues as they arise.
  • Monitor and manage project costs and forecasts to budget. Take corrective action early and report on a timely basis to Manager Major Projects.

Who are you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Transmission Construction
  • Certified Practising Project Practitioner (CPPP) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing large scale complex transmission line projects.
  • Experience in transmission lines maintenance and construction
  • Ability to liaise with client engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrate ability to plan, monitor and control project activities with a focus on client requirements, productivity, cost, and quality.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety and Environment, and ability to implement compliance with health and safety and environmental legislation and all QL Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to produce high quality project management reports.
  • Your experience shall have been gained in an environment where safety, commercial accountability and quality of delivery are leading indicators of success
