DKSH Performance Materials has an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager with experience in strategic account management to join a passionate team who are engaged and driven to deliver for our clients and customers.
About the role
This is a newly created role that is pivotal in accelerating growth opportunities for DKSH Performance Materials. The Key Account Manager will own key account strategy development in our Mining and Agriculture segment, working collaboratively with other internal functions to drive top line sales growth. Understanding the strategic challenges and priorities of all customers, the Key Account Manager will deliver timely and effective solutions that drive new business and share of wallet growth to a high potential customer base. Using market data and sales analytics, bucket loads of tenacity and a natural flair to create a compelling narrative, youre able to penetrate new customers and secure their business. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders to align resources and drive implementation.
You possess a strong background in partnering with customers, internal stakeholders and an outstanding track record of growing revenue with large accounts in the Mining and Agricultural segment. Your Bachelors degree or equivalent in science, mineral processing or business will be well regarded and hold you in good stealth to thrive in this role.
Your collaboration skills mean that you develop healthy relationships with customers and internal business partners quickly and can align business goals cross-functionally and execute with precision. You are skilled at articulating the value proposition to our high value customers and in time, (and with our help!) you become a subject matter expert for the segment including a knowledge of the key players, competitors, and industry trends.
You are adept at managing an effective sales process and diligent in maintaining all activity in Salesforce.com, which you use to maximise your efficiency, call planning and pipeline management. You can draw on an impressive record of above plan performance, born from one-part IQ and two-parts EQ.
Your well refined negotiation skills and attention to the finer details mean that you are capable of implementing commercially viable trading agreements. You build mutually beneficial opportunities for DKSH, and our existing and future customers. You articulate market and data insights into actionable strategies for your territory and the segment.
