Business Development Manager

The Client

An Australian-owned leading innovative and creative hub where brands are created across food, health supplements, and personal care categories.    They are looking for a dynamic and creative business development person who is passionate in building relationships and creating opportunities to profitability. 


The Role

  • Develop business relationship and identify opportunities driven by company vision and strategies
  • Achieve commercial target of the business whilst exercising accountability of the customers’ expectations
  • Work proactively with the NPD team by providing innovative product ideas, market insights, and product trends
  • Drive profitability and margin enhancement via effective business planning
  • Perform strategic and commercial analysis of potential and existing customers and potential and existing competitors
  • Primary contact for targeted customers

  

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or business-related studies
  • Relevant years’ experience working with new product development team, knowledge of formulation process and manufacturing, ideally food, health and personal care R&D background
  • Proven track record in developing business and profitable partnership
  • Strong cross-functional engagement across NPD, manufacturing, brand and external customer’s team
  • Ability to juggle multiple, changing and conflicting priorities including targets
