We require up to 50 staff to assist in picking and packing truss grown tomatoes in Port Augusta.
Available positions are: - Horticulture Labourer
Brief job description:
Winding plants onto their strings
De-leafing, pruning, removing laterals
Packing shed production line
Glasshouse cleaning and maintenance
Dropping string lines
Positions will commence in mid - late June 2021 and are ongoing permanent full time positions for up to 3 years at 38 hours per week.
Generally, work will be carried out 5 days per week from Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30am and finishing between 4:30pm, however, this may change from time to time. Successful applicants will be employed as Level 1 under the Horticulture Award.

Ability to pass a colour-blind test, as the position requires you to distinguish between red and green tomatoes.
Ability to pass a Drug Test before commencement of employment.
Ability to acquire good speed at manual tasks
Be fit and healthy, with good flexibility.
Ability to lift crates for long periods of time.
Ability to do repetitive work, standing for long periods of time.
Willing to commit to the position for at least a 12 month period.
