Senior Administration Officer - Mental Health

Part time - 3 days per week, Well respected not for profit organisation, Warabrook based.

This busy role provides high level administrative support to Hunter Primary Care’s Mental Health Service Executive and Senior Management.


  • Proactively consult with senior managers regularly to identify and prioritise support requirements
  • Support Senior Manager with onboarding new staff and related processes
  • Assist with administrative aspects of tenders, proposals, presentations and reports
  • Organise team meetings, advisory meetings and planning/professional days, including minute taking
  • Oversee administrative processes maintaining and procuring new outreach arrangements
  • Support new contract processes to finalisation, facilitate policy and procedure reviews
  • Support Senior Managers in reviewing and maintaining content on HPC website
  • Undertake administrative aspects of incident management processes
  • Support Senior Managers with responses to requests for information/subpoenas
  • Consult with Executive / Senior Manager re scheduling of diary appointments related to above tasks


  • Relevant business administration qualifications and/or extensive industry experience
  • High degree of professional integrity and well-articulated understanding of obligations with respect to privacy and confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management capacity
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

This position is classified as a Business Support Level 5 role in accordance with the Hunter Primary Care Agreement 2021.
