About the Role

Perks has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant or Accountant looking to take the next step in their career, to join the Business Services team in delivering accounting and business advisory services to our clients.

In this role you will work directly with Managers, within a motivated and high performing team, gain exposure to a diverse range of clients across different industries and be presented with development and progression opportunities in line with your interests and goals.


  • Prepare financial statements, interim accounts and income tax returns
  • Prepare management reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Prepare ATO and state tax compliance reporting
  • Supervise, support, and mentor junior team members to enable their growth and development
  • Collaborate with teams across the firm to provide an integrated client service
  • Assist Directors and Managers with advisory engagements
  • Assist clients with accounting system implementations and support

Skills and Experience

Some of the skills, experience and attributes that you would bring to the role are:

  • Be CA/CPA qualified or near completion
  • Relevant experience in business advisory services
  • Strong technical accounting skills and compliance knowledge
  • Prior experience supporting or mentoring junior staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to engage with a wide range of clients from varied industries
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Team player, with a positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
