The role.

Sales, account management and business development for an established ICT reseller. 

Key responsibilities.

  • Selling products from a wide range of vendors to a diverse portfolio of customers across multiple verticals.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with customers, vendors and distribution partners.
  • Maximising sales opportunities.
  • Completing vendor training courses as required.
  • Formulating quotes and processing customer orders.

Your skills and attributes.

  • TEAM PLAYER.
  • You are not expected to provide technical presales support, however you must be confident selling IT equipment, licenses and services. You must have (at least) a basic knowledge of network equipment, security solutions, storage devices and licensing.
  • You are a service orientated individual, looking to develop and maintain long lasting relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Driven with a can & will do attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word.

Education.

  • IT Networking and/or Vendor accreditations such as CCIE or equivalent are a bonus.

Key requirements.

  • At least 5 years relevant sales experience working for an ICT vendor, distributor, reseller or MSP.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Willing and able to work from our Matraville offices. 
  • Experience gained working with one of our vendors or with their products would be advantageous.
